Florence, Italy

We drove on Wednesday to Florence Italy from Venice Italy. When we arrived, we dropped off our baggage at the hotel, ate a quick lunch, rushed to The Duke's Palace Museum and stood in line for 2.75 hours. Then toured the Museum, while taking notes from our Professor Lecturing about the Art there. Then on Tuesday we did three Museums (WAY TO MUCH in my opinion!!!). Then we had free time. We tried to fit in a fourth but thankfully it had closed. So we did it the next morning instead.  Here are some pictures from Florence Italy.

Dinner our first night in Florence, NO I am NOT drinking wine or any alcoholic drink, I am drinking Cola in a fancy glass

This is NOT an Alcoholic Drink either, it is a lemon sherbert in another fancy glass

Lots of Arches

The HUGE cathedral in Florence

A cool picture, lots of depth, lines and curves, the inner courtyard of the Cathedral is on the left of the photo

Stain Glass window in the Cathedral with the Crucifix in front of it

A painting in the Cathedral

You could also rent a horse and carriage in Florence, once again I didn't have enough time sadly

Me in a museum in Florence

Another picture of me in the Museum, this Museum was supposed to have the original bronze doors, with the Biblical stories illustrated on them, from The Baptistry in it, but they were being restored so we still couldn't see them

The Pieta, that Michael Angelo was creating to go over his tomb, but destroyed because of a flaw in it, he broke off the leg, arm, and other parts, but one of his students finished it after Michael Angelo died. This is not the one in Rome. Same Name, Same Carver, Different Statue

Mary Magdalene, out of wood

The Famous Bridge in Florence with the houses right on the bridge, you cans see the water and other bridges on the left side of the photo behind all the people

Me and Elizabeth on the Famous Bridge with houses on it

The River that flows under the Famous House Bridge

A picture of me on the famous Bridge Covered in houses with the river behind me
